Just beyond the city limits of Yachats, at the end of a nondescript dirt road, lies a beach that is the gateway to the long stretch of basalt slabs and labyrinths that occupy Yachats' beachfront.

After descending a gravel and cobblestone walkway, trailing alongside a stream, you'll encounter this blob of a rock not far from the tideline.

All is in view of the incredible rocky vistas you're about to experience as you continue walking southward.
