The Cove Area, Beneath Tillamook Head
Take Avenue U to Ocean Vista Drive and Cove Beach. This nice little beachside street drives you past interesting, old cottages and motels, and you can watch the beach change from sandy strand to larger, bulkier cobblestones. Here, the beach dead-ends at Tillamook Head.
Storms take no mercy on this beach or these streets, which can get flooded by large waves on occasion or have debris dumped onto them.
