Look a bit closer and you’ll find oddities embedded in the gray, rather soft rock at the bottom of the cliffs. In one shot, you see seashells sticking out. In another, there are large bolts mysteriously screwed into the rock (see next spot). What’s going on here? Were there once manmade structures on this beach? And were those shells from some primordial ocean floor that now sits at sea level? The answer lies in the next tour spot.... |
