One of the more famous watering holes on the coast is Bill's Tavern, with its increasingly legendary microbrews (plus it's purportedly haunted by a ghost known as "bandage man.")
Their sister bar, the Warren House, in the southern tip of Cannon Beach, is one incredible eatery and bar, with exceptional food during the day. At night, it's a hotspot of friendly and interesting locals (many of them young expatriates from the Portland area) and innovative drinks.
