(Wheeler, Oregon) – If you hang around a small town enough, you’ll discover some interesting things. With Wheeler, on the north Oregon coast, you’ll uncover bundles of stuff and the surprises may never cease.

Such was the scene in the early part of the decade with Wheeler, where, it turns out, there’s a minor celebrity from cult classics like “Star Trek” and “Seinfeld.” And then one day, you bump into a descendent of William Clark from Lewis & Clark bounding around the tiny town.
